MEMORIA is a photography studio based in Charlotte, focused on weddings, couples and portraits with a quiet, cinematic point of view — drawn to honest moments, beautiful light and images that feel more valuable with time.
MEMORIA began with a simple idea: photographs should feel like something you remember, not something you performed for.
We step in when direction helps, then make space for the moment to become your own. The photographs we care about most usually happen just before or just after the obvious one.
Every gallery is shaped with care so it feels cohesive without feeling manufactured. The goal isn’t perfection. It’s to make something that still feels true years from now.

Unposed, mostly
We’ll give direction when it helps, then get out of the way. The frames worth keeping are usually the ones that happen somewhere between the planned moments.

We follow the light
Soft shade, window light, the last half hour before dark, a room lit by a string of bulbs — we work with what the day gives us and use it to tell the story.

We want your photographs to live beyond a screen — in albums, on walls, in boxes opened years from now. Images made not only to be seen, but to stay.
